Signature Sound for the German Jazz Prize 2026
Commissioned by Initiative Musik gGmbH and the German Jazz Prize, Birgitta composed the signature sound for this year’s German Jazz Prize award ceremony that took place on April 25, 2026 in Bremen’s Congress Centrum during the Jazzahead! A Trajectory of Cells was written for Silke Eberhard (bcl), Declan Forde (p), James Banner (b), Roland Schneider (dr) and herself and performed live during the ceremony.
