Sylvia Bruckner, Birgitta Flick, and Christa Stöffelbauer share an interest in jointly creating, exploring, and transforming a space that unfolds from the direct interaction of music and dance, and in researching new possibilities for interaction. In improvisational interplay, they search for similarities in sound and movement, for subtle details that manifest themselves between the body of the instrument and the human body, between sound and movement—and in the moment of creation, they allow such a space to emerge that is specific, alive, and in constant flux. The ensemble was founded on the occasion of the opening of Sylvia Bruckner’s three-day artist portrait at Vienna’s Porgy & Bess in April 2025, which was very well received, and has since then been working as a trio and in various duo combinations in Austria and Germany, most recently in autumn 2025 at the Berlin rejazz festival with Sylvia Bruckner and Birgitta Flick.
